UFOs are not what I consider worthy of the written word, but just over Christmas time, while I was visiting with my very good friends who were staying at the Birmingham Airport Hotel, I was shown some very interesting video footage that they captured the night before during their stay here in Birmingham.
At first, I thought they were pulling a fast one on me, I even laughed and made a comment about them making money with this fake set-up, but when I saw the genuine look of disappointment on their faces, I knew that they weren’t joking or trying to see how gullible I am. They were serious. They told me, that they were some what reluctant to show me, because they too, did not believe in UFOs, but what they witnessed the night before completely made them not only believers, but experienced an actual UFO siting.
They told me they were outside on the hotel room balcony smoking a cigarette around 11pm in the evening when they saw what they believed were several airplanes, being close to the airport and all, but the six pairs of bright orange lights flew in a zig-zag pattern. So that’s when they pulled out their digital camera and began to film. Later, they called the airport and asked if there was something special happening, but the Birmingham Airport said there was no aircraft’s with that description flying around 11pm, they also said there were actually no aircraft in or around Birmingham at 11pm.
Then they showed me the Birmingham Morning newspaper which right there on the front page was a photo of exactly what my friends had captured on film. The news paper dismissed the sighting as Chinese Lanterns being set off as a prank. But, my very good friends and I know that Chinese Lanterns don’t move in a zig-zag pattern travelling around 150 miles per hour.
