Take a trip to Kauai

Kauai is a beautiful place to take a truly amazing vacation. The beaches are vast and the water is clear blue. Kauai travel is one of the best experiences that a person can get in the islands.

A Kauai vacation may actually be more affordable than you would have previously thought. With the economy the way that is going, most people have opted out of their yearly vacation because their funds are low. Well their pain could be your gain. A Hawaii holiday for you and your family could be in grasp and cheaper than you would have ever imagined.

Something you can do in Kauai is snorkel. Snorkeling is a great way to experience the ocean without have to do any additional training. With scuba diving you have to be certified before you go down there. Plus, I personally think scuba diving is scary because you are way more likely to die doing that then swimming around with an oversize straw in your mouth.

Some other sites you should check out while you are in Kauai are their botanical gardens. The National Tropical Botanical Garden has the world’s largest collection of rare and endangered plants. The 186 acre preserve was set aside by the United States Congress in 1964 and then became the botanical garden.

There is also a Captain James Cook Monument in Kauai. Captain James Cook was the British explorer who sailed into Hawaii in 1778.

Or just hang by the beach and enjoy the place where movies have been made. Movies such as Six Days Seven Nights starring Harrison Ford and Anne Heche were made on the island. Another movie that was made on the island was the remake of King Kong.

Whether you decide to spend your whole trip lounging or take in the historical sites, it’s got to be better than that cubicle right?
