UM spared from proposed Art in Public Places law

(CORAL GABLES) A full court press that stopped just short of having University of Miami President Donna Shalala show up at Coral Gables City Hall ? which she likely would have had she not been in Washington ? finally succeeded in getting city official to exempt the university from having to abide by proposed Art in Public Places ordinance.
